If you know me, you'll know that Maisie Peters is one of my all-time favorite female singer songwriters. She is such a hidden gem! Her voice has such a beautiful cadence and her lyrics are oh-so-poetic. I would highly recommend giving her a listen, especially in anticipation of her new singles being released soon!
The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand has been in my everyday makeup bag for weeks now. Something about the hot summer months really makes me more inclined to use cream products over powder; they just seem so much lighter on the skin in a time when avoiding cakey-ness is key! This wand delivers a rich, flattering contour that blends easily and flawlessly. I wear the shade fair/medium, but it also comes in medium/dark to suit deeper skin tones. Not to mention, the squeeze tube and applicator make it so much more convenient to use and pack for traveling.
I think shopping for jeans/anything denim is one of those things that theoretically sounds so simple, yet ends up being so unexpectedly difficult as soon as you start. Denim products just seem to fit everyone so differently, and the texture, stretch, and wash vary so drastically from brand to brand, product to product. I searched for a little while to find the perfect jean skirt, and finally settled upon this one from Madewell. It's so perfect for me, and it quickly became a staple in my "summer uniform." It's comfortable, a little stretchy but not to the point where it requires sizing down, and has a frayed hemline that gives it a little bit of flair without looking too distressed.
I've been loving red as an accent color this month, and these Sam Edelman slides add just the right pop of brightness to any outfit. They're comfortable, versatile, and can suit jeans and a t-shirt just as well as they can a chic sundress.
